Job summary

Community Care is hiring a Visit Support Worker to supervise visits between children and family members in a safe, welcoming setting. The role helps families work toward reunification and can fit part-time schedules with training and supervision provided.

Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma/GED, and 6 months of related experience. Reliable transportation and a Maine driver's license are required; lifting and carrying children is expected as part of duties.

Qualifications

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid State of Maine driver's license.
• Able to lift young children and carry infants as needed.
• Minimum age 18 and 6 months of experience with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Supervises visits and provides structure and guidance to visit participants in various settings.
• Supports families toward reunification as part of the Family Plan.
• Works with peak hours from 2pm to 7pm, Mon–Fri, and supports transportation when required.
