Synergy HomeCare seeks a compassionate Family Support Specialist - Caregiver for part-time work in the Livermore, CA area. You will support children and families with activities, daily routines, meals, and safety, while coordinating with parents and our team to ensure smooth days.

The role offers flexible hours, diverse assignments including newborn and school‑aged care, and ongoing coaching from a caregiver‑focused team. A valid CA driver’s license and a background check are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of professional child care, preschool, daycare, nanny, or babysitting experience.
• Valid California driver license.
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain certification before working independently.
• Current TB test or willingness to obtain.
• Complete Care Academy before starting.
• Effective English communication skills, Spanish is a plus.
• Professional references.

Responsibilities

• Organize educational activities and encourage creativity through games and play.
• Help with homework and daily routines; prepare meals and snacks.
• Provide light housekeeping related to children's care.
• Maintain open communication with parents and office team.
