Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
• Licensed in Indiana and Kentucky, or eligible for both states.
• Prescriptive authority and controlled-substance registration as required.
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• National board certification appropriate to the provider's discipline.
• Family Practice/Primary Care experience preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-specialty practice.
• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and family medicine services to adult patients.
• Perform patient evaluations, histories, physical examinations, and follow-up visits.
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Order and interpret appropriate laboratory testing and diagnostic studies.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications within applicable state and federal regulations.
• Provide preventive care, health education, and chronic disease management.
• Complete timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record.
• Coordinate care with specialists and other members of the healthcare team.

GetWell Health System is seeking an experienced Part-Time Family Practice Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) rienced and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing multi-specialty practice on a part-time basis. This position will provide Family Practice/Primary Care services to patients at our Indiana and Kentucky locations.

We are looking for a provider who is dependable, patient-focused, comfortable working independently within their scope of practice, and able to work collaboratively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff.
