Job summary

NPHire, a physician-owned primary care clinic in Cumming, Georgia, is hiring a part-time Family Nurse Practitioner to work directly with the physician owner in a small, patient-centered practice.

Responsibilities include broad primary care from age 5 to geriatrics, managing acute and chronic conditions, annual well visits, labs, imaging, and referrals. Schedule is Mondays and Tuesdays with alternating Saturdays; compensation is $60-$70 per hour as a 1099 contractor; CME allowance provided.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia APRN license and FNP board certification required.
• 1-2 years of NP experience preferred; RN experience considered case by case.
• New FNP graduates with prior primary care or med-surg experience considered case by case.
• Comfortable caring for patients across the full age range including children age 5 and up.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care across the lifespan from age 5 and up.
• Diagnose and manage acute presentations and chronic conditions.
• Perform well visits, preventive screenings, and health maintenance.
• Order and interpret labs and imaging; coordinate referrals.
• Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and prevention.
• Document encounters accurately in eClinicalWorks.
• Collaborate with physician owner on complex cases.
• Participate in shared phone call rotation.
