Job summary

RiseMe is seeking a part-time Family Assistant and House Manager in West Newton, MA 02465. You will provide afternoon transportation for two teenage daughters, help with meals, errands, and household organization, and support daily rhythms during school-year afternoons.

Ideal candidates are reliable, proactive, and skilled at coordinating schedules with Google Calendar. The role involves caring for a small dog, maintaining boundaries with teens, and is a long-term partnership with a 15–20 hour

Qualifications

• Reliable personal vehicle and experienced driver who is comfortable driving in New England winter conditions.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Comfortable with dogs.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Vaccinations (COVID and flu) preferred.
• Maintain a smoke-free environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for two teenage daughters to school and activities.
• Support meals, snacks, and dance gear for afternoons and evenings.
• Organize dance bags and frequently used items.
• Manage independence with structure and accountability for the girls.
• Coordinate use of Google Calendars for schedules and logistics.
• Handle errands, shopping, laundry, and household organization as needed.
• Care for the family Cavapoochon and coordinate pet appointments.
• Provide administrative support and keep family updated on priorities.
