A selected candidate will teach one or two courses in the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. Part‑time faculty are not required to engage in research or service activities but must hold regular office hours and be available to assist students enrolled in their courses. They are expected to stay current in their fields of instruction and with pedagogical methods and instructional technologies. Most courses are three credits. In‑person courses meet for approximately three hours per week over the course of an approximately fourteen‑week semester. Classes meet during the day at the Kingston campus.
