• Field experience amounting to no less than 10 years as a practicing sport manager, preferably within intercollegiate athletics, with at least five years in a senior-level position (associate director or higher)

The course will assess the value and practice of governance for a number of sport entities including youth sport, high school sport, campus recreation, intercollegiate sport including the NCAA, the Olympic Games, and professional sports. The course will also cover elements of NCAA regulations, rules interpretations, and enforcement decisions.
