San Jacinto College Online is seeking part-time faculty to teach Physical Education-related coursework. Courses are delivered online and assignments are managed through the college's learning platform. Instructors are hired on an as-needed basis for the duration of specified courses.

Candidates must hold a Master's degree or higher with at least 18 graduate hours in Physical Education. Experience and certifications in specialty areas such as water aerobics or swim instruction are preferred.

Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available for San Jac Online. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an \"as needed\" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective courses. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using online delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College. All San Jac Online faculty should reside in the state of Texas.

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree or above with at least eighteen (18) graduate hours in Physical Education.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience and certifications in specialty (i.e. water aerobics and/or swim instruction etc.).

Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
