San Jacinto College is seeking a part-time faculty member to teach accounting related coursework online through SJC Online. Instructors are hired on an as-needed basis for the duration of specific courses and must reside in Texas.

Required qualifications include a Master’s degree with eighteen graduate hours in Accounting or related discipline; prior higher education teaching experience is preferred. Salary is based on the board-approved schedule, posting close 8/31/2027.

Part-Time Faculty - Accounting (SJC Online)

Teaching Accounting related coursework.

Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available for San Jac Online. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective courses. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using online delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College. All San Jac Online faculty should reside in the state of Texas.

Required Qualifications:

• Master's Degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours in Accounting or related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in teaching Accounting coursework in higher education.

Salary Grade: AH

Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
