Part-Time Faculty, Medical Director – Paramedic ProgramThe Part-Time Faculty/Medical Director will serve as the Medical Director for the Paramedic Program, a required position for program accreditation and implementation. The Medical Director will provide physician oversight of the curriculum, clinical education, student performance, and regulatory compliance. This position is essential to obtaining and maintaining accreditation, enrolling students, and providing high-quality, safe educational experiences that prepare future paramedics to meet workforce needs in our region.**Schedule and Hours*** **Schedule:** Various, based on program and operational needs* **Expected Hours:** Approximately 24–30 hours annually.* **Typical Weekly Commitment:** Approximately 0–4 hours per week, with scheduling varying based on program needs.* **Anticipated Start Date:** October 12, 2026**Primary Responsibilities*** Plan, organize, manage, and administer uniform standards of emergency care programs, operations, and functions.* Participate in the development and implementation of system and program strategic planning.* Implement and assist in developing emergency medical services department policies, procedures, and business practices.* Evaluate goals, objectives, priorities, and activities to improve performance and outcomes.* Recommend and establish administrative controls and improvements.* Develop procedures to implement new and changing regulatory requirements.* Sit on the Advisory Committee.* Maintain curriculum and syllabi for the paramedic program.* Evaluate and select textbooks, workbooks, and manuals for program delivery.* Ensure department programs meet accreditation standards and comply with state and national policies and procedures.* Evaluate program faculty, instructors, and staff.* Maintain records as required by the State and for Accreditation.* Establish protocols and training for Advanced Life Support (ALS) students.* Perform quality improvement and quality assurance functions for ALS students.* Actively directed and led clinical performance in the program.* Help recruit physicians to help educate students.* Assist with training.**Minimum Requirements*** Doctoral Degree in Medicine or Doctorial Degree in Osteopathic Medicine with active certification from the Pennsylvania Department of Health.* Recent experience in emergency medicine.* EMS fellowship preferred.**Application Requirements**Interested candidates must submit the following documents through our online application portal:* Current Resume or Curriculum Vitae* Cover Letter* Unofficial transcripts (Official transcripts required upon hire)**Background Checks/Clearances**Employment with the College will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with College's policies.**Make a Difference.
