Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Eastern Kentucky University invites applications for a part-time faculty position to teach courses in the Academic Year 2026-2027.
Courses may include, but are not limited to: MAT 105, MAT 105P, MAT 111A/B, MAT 112A/B, MAT 114, STA 215 and STA 215P.
Applicants should hold at minimum an earned master’s degree in mathematics, or a related field with at least 18 credit hours in graduate-level mathematics, from a regionally (SACS, Middle States, North Central, etc.) accredited or internationally recognized institution at the time of appointment.
Part-time faculty may teach up to nine credit hours, depending on departmental needs.
Applicants will be screened and contacted as departmental needs for part-time faculty arise. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
Unofficial transcripts are acceptable at the time of application. Official transcripts are required at the time of the position offer and as a condition of employment.


Minimum Qualifications

Education: Master's Degree is required in Mathematics, or a related field with at least 18 credit hours in graduate-level Mathematics. Degree(s) must be from a regionally (SACS, Middle States, North Central, etc.) accredited or internationally recognized institution.
