• Associates degree in Fire Science is strongly desired in the related field.
• Minimum of five years of verifiable experience in specific areas to be taught. (i.e. if instructor is being hired to teach a rescue class they must be able to demonstrate at least 5 years experience serving on or working with a technical rescue team)
• Classroom teaching experience preferred; On-line instruction experience desirable.
