San Jacinto College (South) in Houston invites applications for Part-Time Faculty in Engineering to teach Statics and Dynamics on-site. Assignments may include evenings or weekends and are scheduled per course needs. Positions are filled on an as-needed basis and are not current vacancies.
Instructors are paid according to the Board-approved salary schedule and will work for the duration of the course. A Master's degree or higher with 18 graduate engineering hours is required; teaching
Teaching Engineering (Statics and Dynamics) related course work. Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time facultyarenot entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.
