Overview:

The Department of Chemistry and Physical Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences at Quinnipiac University invites applications for part-time faculty positions to teach entry-level on-ground lab courses in general Chemistry starting in Spring 2025.

Openings are available for day-time sections teaching:

• General Chemistry I Lab (CHE110L)
• General Chemistry II Lab (CHE111L)

About the School/Program:

The College offers a broad range of programs including undergraduate majors in various fields such as behavioral neuroscience, biochemistry, biology, chemistry, and others. It also provides minors, a MS in Molecular and Cell Biology, and several accelerated undergraduate/graduate programs, along with secondary education pathways.

About Quinnipiac:

Responsibilities:

• Teach day-time sections of General Chemistry I and II Labs.
• Post assignments, assessments, and manage grades via Blackboard.

Education Requirements:

• Minimum MS degree in Chemistry or related field.

Qualifications:

• Relevant undergraduate teaching experience preferred.
• Commitment to teaching excellence.
• Experience with instructional technologies, especially Blackboard.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse individuals.
