Job summary

Portland Community College is seeking part-time faculty for Business Administration: Business Technology and Data Analytics courses. Instructors may teach face-to-face on-site at Sylvania, Rock Creek, Southeast, Cascade campuses, or online.

New applications will be reviewed monthly. Requires a Master’s in related field or equivalent; experience teaching Applications courses preferred. PCC offers a benefits package and a salary schedule for part-time faculty.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in a business field (Business or Business Education) required or equivalent.
• OR Master’s Degree in any field and a minimum combination of three years of relevant teaching experience and industry experience.
• OR Bachelor’s degree and a minimum combination of four years of relevant teaching experience and industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach PCC courses in Business Administration: Business Technology and Data Analytics with Excel/Tableau.
• Prepare lesson plans, assessments, and course materials for on-site and online delivery.
• Engage with students to support learning outcomes and success in the program.
