San Jacinto College is seeking part-time faculty to teach Associate Degree Nursing related course work. Instructors are hired as needed to cover courses, with evenings and possibly weekend classes, and will be assigned to teach on-site at the designated location.

Positions are reviewed as openings arise and part-time faculty do not receive full-time benefits. Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year, with the requisition number 4923 and posting close date

Qualificações

• Master's of Science in Nursing required.
• Current Texas RN Nursing license required.
• At least three years direct or related nursing work experience (exclusive of teaching).

Applications for part-time faculty positions are accepted on a continuous basis and reviewed if openings become available. These positions are not current vacancies. Instructors employed as part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees. Part-time faculty are hired on an "as needed" basis and will work for the duration of time specified by the respective course. A portion of teaching assignment may be evening classes and possibly weekend classes. Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.

Required Qualifications

• Master's of Science in Nursing
• Current Texas RN Nursing license
• At least three (3) years direct or related work experience in nursing required exclusive of teaching.

Salary Grade: AH
