Job summary

YMCA Southcoast in Fall River is looking for a Facility Maintenance Assistant to support the safe and efficient operation of the branch. Responsibilities include routine maintenance, minor repairs, and assisting with facility setups.

The ideal candidate will have prior maintenance experience, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and in a team. This part-time position offers flexible scheduling and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in general facility maintenance preferred.
• Ability to work weekends and occasional evenings as needed.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily and routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility.
• Complete minor repairs and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of fitness areas and common areas.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Set up and break down rooms, furniture, and equipment for programs.
• Assist with exterior upkeep, including seasonal tasks.
