Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend Safety Data Sheets.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned janitorial work within specified time frames and to the required quality levels of each contract.
• Inform the Supervisor Janitorial Services of all cleaning and personnel issues or needs.
• Act as a representative of Gateway and deal with customers in a professional and courteous manner.
• Be responsible for all equipment and supplies assigned.
• Participate in training programs for professional growth as scheduled and approved.
• Demonstrate positive work attitudes and habits as a role model.
• May be required to work alternate shifts with notice, which may or may not be permanent.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.
• Use all required safety devices and personal protective equipment.
• Perform work tasks in a safe manner, and do not take unsafe "short cuts".
• Conduct daily inspections of immediate work area(s) to look for unsafe conditions.
• Report all accidents promptly to the immediate supervisor and Human Resources.
• Be familiar with the Safety and Health Accident Prevention Program and obey all safety and health rules, work practices, and regulations.
• Adhere to Gateway Hudson Valley’s Corporate Compliance Policy and Standards of Conduct as well as all applicable program rules, regulations and policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
