American Wood Fibers, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Custodian for our Pella, Iowa facility. The role focuses on keeping all areas clean, sanitized, and well-organized to support a safe manufacturing environment.

You will work independently on assigned shifts, ensuring restrooms and common spaces meet hygiene standards. The position emphasizes reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals safely.
• Able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal throughout the facility.
• Sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas to maintain hygiene standards.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper in designated areas.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
• Assist with setup and cleanup for company events or special projects as needed.
