Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana is seeking a part-time janitor to maintain cleanliness across office and public areas in Indianapolis, IN. The role offers an hourly rate of $17.20 with Monday–Friday 6:00 am to 3:30 pm shifts at 46 E Ohio St, Indianapolis.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate reliability, basic safety awareness, and strong general labor skills while supporting a federal contract under the AbilityOne program. Benefits include health plans and paid time off.

Responsibilities

• Cleans office areas, courtrooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other assigned work areas.
• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans and disinfects the furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Wipes down walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Transports trash and waste to the disposal area.
