Job summary

Goodwill Legacy Group is seeking a reliable janitor to join our evening shift at our Indianapolis facility. The position offers $17.20 per hour and is part of the AbilityOne program in partnership with Goodwill and federal agencies.

The janitor will clean offices, hallways, restrooms, lobbies, and other areas, perform floors care, disinfect surfaces, and restock supplies while following safety protocols and communicating with building management as needed.

Qualifications

• No degree required; capability and willingness to learn are valued.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to perform general labor tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Clean and polish lighting fixtures, surfaces, and furniture.
• Disinfect furniture and equipment.
• Wipe walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
• Sweep, mop, and wax floors.
• Transport trash and maintain bathroom supplies.
• Communicate with management and customers as needed.
