Job description

Part-Time building facility and safety support assistant

Materials Research Institute (MRI) is currently seeking a Part-Time building facility and safety support assistant approximately 10-16 hrs/week as needed.

Duties

• assisting on facility inspections research equipment and parts inventory
• basic laboratory set-ups and projects.
• Recordkeeping and organization in this position is a must, and the individual will be required to take appropriate laboratory safety training.
• Mechanical skills and an eagerness to learn are necessary, requiring the candidate to learn about multiple different laboratories and research equipment.
