Job summary

Nexgen Tooling LLC in Sanford, ME is seeking a part-time cleaning assistant for the 1st shift. Hours are approximately 24–30 per week, typically between 10:00 am and 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.

This role involves hands-on cleaning and facilities upkeep in office and production areas. You will clean floors, windows, and surfaces using floor scrubbers and vacuums, restock supplies, handle minor repairs, and ensure a safe, tidy environment.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English as required for communication.
• Stand on feet for extended periods and perform reaching, bending, and twisting as needed.
• Lift up to 50 lbs as required by job tasks.
• Wearing required PPE and following safety protocols.
• Operate floor scrubber, vacuums and carpet cleaners.
• Climb stairs and work around cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls.
• Disinfect commonly used items like desks, door handles, office tools and phones.
• Maintain cleaning inventory and notify management when replacements are needed.
• Empty trash and recycling bins.
• Monitor and refill bathroom supplies.
• Complete minor facilities repairs and other duties as needed.
