The Fountains of Tyler is seeking a Part-Time Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe and well‑maintained. You will perform routine tasks, assist with repairs, and support daily operations to ensure residents’ comfort and safety.

Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork are essential as you help maintain HVAC, water systems, and emergency generators while prioritizing safety and efficient service.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers, and emergency generators.
• Understands basic principles of preventive maintenance.
• Communicates clearly and works well within a team.
• Maintains a safety-focused, detail-oriented approach.
• Can adapt to changing facility needs and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned.
• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools.
• Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order.
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Report and respond to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner.
