Job summary

ASM Global-SMG is seeking part-time Maintenance Technicians to perform general building maintenance and ensure the Raising Cane's River Center operates smoothly. Responsibilities include HVAC care, boiler work, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and equipment upkeep.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years in maintenance, with a valid driver’s license. Forklift certification is preferred. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and event-driven hours is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years general maintenance experience preferred.
• Driver's License required.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building maintenance including painting, carpentry, plumbing and repair.
• Handle projects involving sheetrock and wall vinyl.
• Maintain shop equipment and workstation with safety in mind.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, boilers, and food service equipment.
• Inspect safety devices and test water in boiler and condenser systems.
• Repair and maintain equipment in equipment rooms; keep environment clean and safe.
• Operate and monitor facility environmental controls, emergency power, electrical, HVAC, fire, and lighting systems.
• Identify and replace damaged smoke detector heads as needed.
• Follow safety rules and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Operate forklifts, power sweepers, scrubbers, boom lifts, carts and hand/power tools.
• Suggest supplies and materials to the Director of Operations.
• Maintain daily work records and respond to public inquiries.
