Job summary

Harvard Maintenance is seeking a Cleaner to perform basic cleaning duties across common areas and restrooms, including sanitizing, trash disposal, and routine maintenance. The role requires reliability and the ability to work assigned hours across multiple shifts.

Experience of at least one year is preferred, with strong communication skills and dependable transportation to sites. The position supports physical tasks and requires readiness to handle varied cleaning duties at multiple locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Must be willing to work assigned hours.
• Capable of performing the physical demands of the job (bending, kneeling, lifting, standing).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all basic cleaning.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly.
• Cleaning includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in all areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Performs additional duties as required, including attending to flooded areas and spills.
