Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield in Tampa is seeking a dependable part-time custodian to perform a broad range of cleaning duties across our facilities. Under supervision, you will sweep, mop, wipe surfaces, restock supplies, and report issues to the Custodial Manager. Basic cleaning, conditioning of floors, and restroom upkeep are included.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, able to follow directions with minimal supervision, and able to work a flexible schedule. Training provided; pay is $15.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities requires no previous experience.
• Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision, and to function cooperatively as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Use a portable vacuum cleaner – back pack style.
• Requires attention to detail, a pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and high levels of energy and endurance.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces (inside buildings).
• Use floor buffers and shampoo machines including attachments.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean daily and shampoo as directed.
• Wash windowsills, glass in interior doors, partitions, and windows.
• Clean bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily.
• Monitor defects such as clogged urinals and lights out, report to supervisors.
• Collect building trash daily and place in designated collection area.
• Replace liners in waste baskets per specs.
• Sweep or shovel snow from steps and walkways as directed.
• Perform periodic high dusting, leather and wood surface care, and wall washing.
