Job summary

Sunglass Hut in Stamford, CT is seeking a Casual Part-Time Retail Sales Associate to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales. You will develop product knowledge, upsell and cross-sell, and build lasting client relationships both in-store and online.

The role requires staying informed on trends and maintaining a polished store environment. The position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in a dynamic eyewear

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of retail sales experience, preferably eyewear/luxury.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be punctual and reliable; flexible hours incl. evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve sales targets and exceed customer expectations.
• Team player; adaptable, respectful and open to feedback.
• Natural problem-solver with analytical thinking; handle workload under pressure.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to all clients, ensuring their needs are met and a memorable shopping experience.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and product knowledge through trainings.
• Display in-depth knowledge of the Brand, warranties, and optical add-on features.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, in-store and via follow-up communication.
• Consistently meet and exceed daily, weekly and monthly sales targets by upselling and cross-selling.
• Assist with minor adjustments and repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment on sales floor and back of house.
• Provide omnichannel support for seamless customer service across platforms.
• Adhere to all brand policies and procedures; perform other duties as assigned.
