Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking an Exercise Technician to work approximately 20 to 25 hours per week at the Smyrna Outpatient Rehabilitation Site in Smyrna, Delaware. Primary duties include assisting therapists, maintaining a safe care area, and performing clerical tasks to support patient care.

Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma; current enrollment in a pre-PT program is preferred, with prior therapy setting experience preferred. Hourly pay ranges from $16.50 to $24.41.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Currently enrolled in a pre-PT program through an accredited university is preferred.
• Experience in a Physical Therapy setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists the therapist in treatment preparation for group or individual sessions.
• Maintains an orderly, safe work area and prepares equipment for patient use.
• Performs clerical duties: phones, scheduling, transportation coordination, scanning, filing, faxing, and coordinating referrals.
• Monitors patient flow and assists with patient transport as needed.
