Job summary

Lone Star College Houston North Fallbrook seeks a part-time exam Proctor to support a secure testing environment. You will administer exams, greet students, provide instructions, and assist instructors by handling tests and documentation.

Responsibilities include monitoring exams, logging tests, and troubleshooting equipment while maintaining a professional, confidential atmosphere. Minimum high school diploma; bilingual skills a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current Lone Star College students are not eligible to work in the Assessment Center as a Proctor due to test security conflicts.
• Undergraduate students are not eligible to administer CLEP or related exams.

Responsibilities

• Administers exams and monitors students throughout the duration of the exams.
• Welcomes students, provides testing instructions, and assists students and faculty in person, by email, and by phone.
• Receives and logs incoming tests from instructors.
• Documents delivery and returns tests to instructors.
• Maintains tests in a secure environment.
• Makes sound ethical judgments regarding exam security.
• Performs administrative tasks such as maintaining files, recording statistics, and entering scores.
• Troubleshoots test errors and equipment failures.
• Attends to other reasonable related duties as assigned.
