Emerald Acres Sports Connection in Mattoon, IL seeks an Events Team Member to deliver excellent guest service across events, food and beverage, and operations.

You will assist with events setup and breakdown, manage registrations and waivers, operate the POS, and keep the venue clean and welcoming while providing friendly, safety‑minded service.

This part‑time, non‑exempt role requires flexible hours including nights and weekends, with a focus on teamwork and community engagement.

Responsibilities

• Interact with and assist guests.
• Assist with special events setup, breakdown, gate operations, registration, and support.
• Stock, maintain, and clean the facility during shifts.
• Record waivers, registrations, and event information.
• Assist with arcade operations and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Operate POS system and process transactions.
• Resolve guest concerns or escalate to management.
• Complete special projects and daily tasks as directed.
• Uphold facility policies and procedures.
