Job summary

Emerald Acres Sports Connection in Mattoon, IL is hiring a part-time Food & Beverage Team Member to support daily food service operations and events. You will provide guest-friendly service, assist with food preparation, and help with catering orders and setup.

This role requires weekend, night, and holiday availability, prior POS experience, and positive communication with patrons. Join a championship-level team focused on service and community impact.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work weekends, nights, and holidays.
• Prior experience operating point of sale system.
• Ability to communicate in a positive, friendly manner with patrons.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all guests.
• Assist in preparing and serving food items.
• Operate an electronic POS system (POS).
• Assists with catering orders: supply, food preparations, room setup, service, breakdown, etc.
• Communicate with the public in a tactful, polite, and friendly manner.
• Clean concession areas and tables; assist in preparing and serving food items; fill condiment containers.
• Pick up in and around concession areas.
• Scrape and rinse dishes, load dishwasher and operate dishwashing machine, wash dishes, carts, pots, pans, and equipment.
• Take and record temperature of food to ensure proper temperature controls in the transportation of food.
• Assist in unloading, lifting, and carrying food and supplies from trucks and storage areas, and place them in designated areas.
• All other duties assigned by management.
