Job summary

Emerald Acres Sports Connection in Mattoon, IL is seeking an EVENTS TEAM MEMBER to deliver excellent guest service across multiple venue departments, including guest services, food & beverage, and events. The role supports setup, registration, arcade operations and daily facility maintenance, reporting to the Event Manager.

The position is part-time, non-exempt, with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Interacting and assisting guests as needed
• Assist with special events, including setup, breakdown, gate operations, registration, and event support
• Stock, maintain, and clean the facility as necessary throughout shifts
• Perform various tasks related to scheduled work area
• Record waivers, registrations, and event-related information accurately
• Assist with arcade operations, including guest service, game monitoring, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment
• Operate electronic point-of-sale system (POS) and process transactions accurately
• Resolve all guest concerns and/or direct to appropriate Manager
• Complete special projects, daily assignments and other duties as directed by management
• Uphold policies and procedures of the facility
