Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Part-Time Changeover Crew Member for the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh.

The role supports setup, changeovers and breakdowns of events, performing physical tasks according to event requirements and venue needs. The position offers a flexible schedule based on the venue's event calendar, including early mornings, evenings, overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced event environment.
Must be dependable and able to report to scheduled shifts on time.
Previous experience in event setup or related fields is preferred but not required.
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, early mornings, overnight shifts and holidays.

Responsibilities

Assist with event setup, changeovers, and breakdowns throughout the facility.
Set, move, and remove tables, chairs, staging, pipe and drape, barricades, and other equipment.
Arrange meeting rooms, exhibit areas, ballrooms, and other spaces per event specs.
Load, unload, transport, and store event equipment and materials.
Assist with resetting event spaces between scheduled functions.
Maintain equipment and storage areas in a clean, safe, organized condition.
Follow instructions from Operations Supervisors and venue management.
