Job summary

Piedmont Technical College is seeking a part-time Event Support Technician to assist with event and facility support across seven-county service areas in South Carolina. You will help prepare spaces in college rental facilities and other designated spaces, including setting up and breaking down events and providing onsite support.

The role requires a flexible schedule based on events, with hours that may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and ability to learn event-support tech.
• Ability to read event layout diagrams and set up spaces accordingly.
• Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
• Ability to lift/move event equipment including tables and chairs.
• Ability to work independently and with others while delivering customer service.
• Flexible schedule including days/evenings/nights/weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Set up and break down event spaces, including moving and arranging tables and chairs.
• Provide onsite support during events and respond to customer and facility needs.
• Maintain and prepare event spaces according to specifications.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth event operations.
