Job summary

Legends Global is seeking part-time Security Team Members to maintain a safe, welcoming environment at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum during events in Uniondale, NY. This hourly, unionized position requires vigilance, clear communication, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and event days with professionalism.

As a member of the Security team, you will monitor access, perform patrols, respond to incidents, and coordinate with local police and emergency services.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Minimum of 2 years of security guard experience; arena/venue experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, and event days.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safety and security of facility, guests, employees, and event personnel.
• Conduct routine patrols and monitor entrances/exits and restricted areas.
• Respond to emergencies, disturbances, and incidents.
• Enforce policies while maintaining professional, customer-focused behavior.
• Prepare timely incident reports and coordinate with law enforcement when needed.
• Assist with access control and coordination with event staff.
