Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an Usher/Ticket Taker for Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. This part-time, union, hourly position supports Guest Services by guiding guests, verifying tickets, and providing directions and accessibility assistance.

The ideal candidate is friendly, reliable, and able to work evenings, weekends, and varying event schedules in a high-volume environment. Prior customer service experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience; experience in sports/entertainment/arena environment preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English in a professional working environment.
• Friendly, outgoing, approachable, and guest-focused personality.
• Reliable, punctual, and consistent attendance.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Scan tickets and verify valid access.
• Assist guests with seating, directions, and venue amenities.
• Provide accurate information about events and policies.
• Maintain a visible, approachable presence and respond to guest questions and concerns.
