Job summary

Western New York Arena, LLC is seeking a part-time Event Security Guard in Buffalo, NY. The role involves patrolling arenas, screening guests, and ensuring safety and policy compliance during events. Must maintain professionalism and manage crowds while monitoring security systems.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, strong customer service, and the ability to obtain NYS Security Guard Registration. Previous security or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must have strong customer service skills/experience
• Must be able to obtain New York State Security Guard Registration and be of good character;
• Previous law enforcement or security experience is preferred;

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of service to patrons before, during, and after events.
• Monitor assigned areas within the arena to ensure guest safety and compliance with building policy.
• Greet, monitor and control the movements of patrons, visitors, employees and contractors.
• Conduct varying levels of screening of guests, employees and visitors as directed.
• Monitor all electronic security systems (fire board, alarm panel, cameras, access system, etc.).
• Remain calm and professional in all situations.
• Report pertinent information to supervisor.
