Job summary

Fillmore New Orleans is seeking a part-time security team member to maintain safety for staff, artists, vendors and guests at events. You will help create a positive environment and assist with crowd management and access control.

Responsibilities include proactive guest interaction, identifying hazards, conducting ID checks for guests under 30, and participating in emergency evacuation procedures as needed. Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years work experience interacting with people in a positive environment.
• Read, write and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety and security of staff, artists, vendors and guests.
• Lead guests and other employees in emergency evacuation procedures.
• Check identification of guests who appear to be under 30 when drinking alcohol.
• Inspect guests with a metal detector or pat-down search to prevent weapons entering venue.
• Communicate clearly using radios and signals; stay in contact throughout shift.
