Qualifikationen

• 1+ years of general maintenance, facilities, construction, mechanical, or similar experience in a related position.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends based on event schedule.
• Excellent understanding of cleaning and environmental safety protocols.
• Good communication skills and teamwork oriented - cooperative attitude is a must.
• Must be able to follow instructions and easily adjust to changing priorities.
• Must be able to work under deadlines/urgencies while maintaining accuracy and safety protocols.

Aufgaben

• Onsite from pre-event set-up through the event assisting with set-up and general maintenance/repairs needs.
• Respond promptly to all radio calls for maintenance issues during events.
• Troubleshoot and complete minor repairs as needed throughout the venue.
• Assist the conversion crew with chair removal and other post event tasks.
• Patch and repair ice between periods during hockey events.
• May operate computerized system that monitor mechanical equipment and utility systems.
• Assist in the setup and breakdown of equipment for each event in a timely and accurate manner.
• Identify and report any damage or maintenance issues of the equipment immediately to your supervisor.
• Assist with minor facility maintenance and repairs on non-events days as needed.
• Provide helpful, professional service to event personnel, clients, guests, and fellow team members.
• Ensure that all equipment and areas are clean and compliant with the organization’s safety standards before and after every event. Report all unsafe conditions to the supervisor immediately.
