Job summary

KENT WORLDWIDE™ is seeking a dependable Food Service Associate to support food preparation, event execution, and kitchen operations at the KENT Conference Center and Headquarters in Muscatine, IA. You will work with a collaborative team to deliver high-quality service for employees, guests and clients during events.

The role offers flexible, part-time hours (approx. 15–20 per week) with opportunities to contribute to safety, sanitation and guest experiences in a fast-paced hospitality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Previous food service, hospitality, or catering experience preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality food following recipes and food safety guidelines.
• Support kitchen operations including preparation, inventory, storage, and sanitation.
• Keep kitchen and conference spaces clean, organized and safe.
• Assist with setup and execution of meetings and events at the Center and HQ.
• Identify opportunities to improve service, efficiency, and guest experiences.
