Job summary

Capital One Hall is seeking a dependable Part-Time IT Associate to support the venue's day-to-day technology operations in a fast-paced event environment. You will troubleshoot computers, printers, phones, network connectivity, Wi-Fi, and other IT equipment, and assist with setup and monitoring of event technology and digital signage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; IT-related education or experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of Windows computers, networking, Wi-Fi, printers, and common business applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and escalate when needed.
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and events.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support to venue staff, event teams, and clients.
• Troubleshoot computers, printers, phones, network connectivity, Wi-Fi, and other IT equipment.
• Assist with setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting of technology used during events.
• Support digital signage, lobby displays, LED banners, and other venue technology.
• Assist with maintaining IT equipment, inventory, cables, peripherals, and other technology assets.
• Perform basic user account, workstation, and software support.
• Assist with network troubleshooting and escalate more complex network issues to the IT Manager.
• Support event-related technology requests and provide on-site assistance when needed.
• Help monitor technology systems throughout the building and report issues promptly.
• Assist with equipment installations, replacements, updates, and preventative maintenance.
• Document technical issues, solutions, and equipment changes.
• Assist with IT projects and other technology-related tasks as assigned.
• Maintain a professional and service-oriented attitude when working with employees, clients, vendors, and guests.
