The University of Notre Dame is hiring a part-time bartender for Legends within the UOES division. The role focuses on friendly, high-energy service, mixing drinks to standardized recipes, and delivering outstanding guest experiences on campus in Indiana.

Ideal candidates will have bartending experience, be able to obtain a bartender license, and meet Indiana age requirements, with strong communication and a team-first mindset. Flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Previous bartending experience preferred; knowledge of drink recipes and bar operations required.
• Must be able to obtain a bartending license.
• Must meet Indiana legal drinking age.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes and guest preferences.
• Greet and interact with guests in a courteous and engaging manner, taking drink and limited food orders while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
• Keep the bar stocked with necessary supplies, monitor inventory levels, and communicate restocking needs to management.
• Maintain a clean, organized bar area and ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards—as well as university and state alcohol service regulations.
• Process credit card transactions using a POS system and ensure proper card handling procedures
