Job summary

Staybridge Suites West Des Moines is seeking a friendly and outgoing Evening Social Host to welcome guests at our Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening socials, creating a warm atmosphere and memorable experiences for attendees.

The position is Part-Time, with hours 4:00 PM–7:30 PM ( socials 5:30 PM–7:00 PM ). You will help set up light appetizers and refreshments, interact with guests, and support local connections while maintaining professional hospitality standards.

Qualifications

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
Must be of legal age to serve alcohol.
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

Food and Beverage Preparation: Prepare and set up light appetizers and beverages (beer and wine) for the evening social.
Guest Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience.
Relationship Building: Develop relationships with individual guests and local businesses to foster a sense of community and repeat business.
Service Excellence: Serve food and beverages to guests, maintaining high standards of hospitality and service.
Clean-Up: Ensure the social area is clean and tidy before and after the event, following all safety and sanitation guidelines.
