iHeartMedia's Rocky Mountain 24/7 News seeks a part-time News Anchor/Reporter to deliver local, regional, and national coverage across multiple markets from Denver. The role requires strong on-air presence, concise copy, and the ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends.

You will anchor newscasts, produce for 24/7 Newswire, manage social posts, and gather audio from press conferences and events. A four-year degree is preferred, and 3+ years on-air journalism in smaller markets is expected.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in on-air journalism in smaller markets or college stations.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Communications or Journalism).
• Strong writing and editing ability; excellent grammar.
• Ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Anchor newscasts for multiple markets.
• Write clear, concise news copy.
• Produce, edit and write content for 24/7 Newswire.
• Post news and video content to newsroom social media platforms.
• Gather audio from press conferences, live events and partner TV stations.
• Produce short-form reports (voicers/wraps) for anchors on the shift.
• May be called on to anchor breaking news reports as needed.
• General newsroom responsibilities and duties as assigned.
