Job summary

Fairmont Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center in Fairmont, WV is looking for a dependable Part-Time Laundry Aide to join our team. You’ll help ensure residents receive clean linens and clothing while supporting daily operations of our skilled nursing community.

Schedule is Part-Time, 6:00 PM – 2:00 AM, two shifts per week. We offer competitive pay and benefits including insurance, PTO, and opportunities for career advancement. Training is provided; previous laundry experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Dependable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Able to lift, carry, and move laundry throughout the facility.
• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Wash, dry, fold, and organize resident clothing and facility linens.
• Sort laundry according to facility procedures.
• Deliver clean linens and clothing to resident rooms and designated areas.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry department.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines.
• Assist with additional housekeeping or laundry duties as assigned.
