Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The position performs all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside client sites, with flexibility to meet client specifications.

Part-time role available Monday to Friday evenings. Must have a high school diploma (or 6 months janitorial experience) and the ability to follow instructions. On-the-job training is provided to ensure quality cleaning and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or six months janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment to protect floors and surfaces.
• Clean, monitor, and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash and manage waste; use of compactors for certain materials.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
• Spot clean carpets, assist in carpet extractions and shampooing.
• Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies; follow the housekeeping schedule.
• Operate heavy cleaning equipment as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the scope of work or customer needs.
