Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring a Janitor. The position is responsible for performing all-purpose cleaning and preservation of assigned areas inside a building or multiple client sites, with flexibility to align with client specifications.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent or at least six months of janitorial experience, plus attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions. On-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a minimum of six (6) months of janitorial experience.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Attention to detail is required.
• Ability to follow instructions effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage.
• Clean, monitor and maintain restrooms, meeting rooms, corridors, and entrance areas.
• Empty trash cans and use a compactor as needed.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors with appropriate cleaners.
