Job summary

Weir in Bucyrus, OH is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a part-time, 24 hours/week role. You will maintain production equipment and perform troubleshooting to keep operations safe and efficient, with a 3 PM to 11 PM shift.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulics, and lockout/tagout procedures. Competitive hourly pay from $28 to $34, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and installation.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues using meters and schematics.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, including pipe fitting and OSHA Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment for safe, efficient operations.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical breakdowns promptly.
• Perform scheduled preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Install and modify equipment to meet production needs.
• Measure success by uptime, safety compliance, and quick issue resolution.
• Commit to zero-harm safety practices.
