Job summary

My Place Hotel - Jamestown, ND is seeking a dependable, friendly Guest Service Representative for the 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift. This hands-on role goes beyond the front desk, helping keep the hotel welcoming and operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate provides excellent guest service, can multitask, and is comfortable handling cash and hotel software. Previous hotel experience is helpful but not required; training is provided.

Now Hiring: Part-Time Guest Service Representative

Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM | $16-17/hour + Monthly Bonus Opportunities

My Place Hotel - Jamestown is looking for a dependable, friendly, and hardworking Guest Service Representative to join our team on the 3:00 PM-11:00 PM shift.

This is a hands-on hospitality position that goes beyond working behind the front desk. We are looking for someone who takes pride in providing excellent guest service, keeping the hotel clean and welcoming, and helping the team keep daily operations running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, professional service throughout their stay
• Complete guest check-ins and check-outs and manage reservations
• Accurately process room charges, taxes, My Store purchases, and applicable pet fees
• Answer guest questions and resolve concerns in a professional, solution-focused manner
• Promote and explain our Stay Rewarded loyalty program and hotel amenities
• Provide recommendations for local restaurants, shopping, and attractions
• Answer and transfer phone calls, take messages, and handle wake-up calls
• Process credit card authorizations and cash transactions
• Complete required logs, shift paperwork, and other front desk documentation
• Assist with laundry, stocking supplies, maintaining the coffee bar, and cleaning common areas
• Keep entrances, sidewalks, and other guest areas clean, safe, and free of snow and ice
• Complete routine property walkthroughs to help maintain hotel safety and security
• Deliver requested items such as towels, toiletries, or cribs to guest rooms
• Issue and track keys and key cards for housekeeping and maintenance
• Assist with guest room cleaning when needed during busy periods or staffing shortages
• Communicate maintenance, guest service, and operational concerns promptly to management
• Follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, and security standards

Previous hotel experience is helpful, but not required. We are willing to train the right person who has a great attitude and a strong work ethic.
